2023 is the year for change on the West Chester Area School District board! Candidates will be elected to serve a 4 year term that will begin in December 2023. There are 5 seats up election:
Back to Basics is looking for candidates to publicly support and financially endorse for the 2023 elections, would YOU consider running for the school board?! Our ideal candidates would be:
Legal residents of PA, age 18+, who have lived in the WCASD for at least one year.
Moms and dads of school aged children.
Passionate about education and educational issues.
Concerned about the financial health of the school district, and/or have experience in accounting/finance.
Parents who moved or have considered moving their children out of the WCASD into homeschool, private, charter, or religious schools.
Interested in prioritizing educational outcomes and academic excellence over political agendas.
Community minded and focused on bringing our community together to problem solve.
