Some topics of interest that will be covered in tonight’s meeting are:
The number of non-teaching job descriptions (4) that are being revised. It is unclear if these are new positions or not. Either way, the increase in administrative roles outpaces enrollment, which has declined by 25 students since the start of the school year. (See page 125 of the agenda.)
Take a look at the agenda and ask yourself how much of this meeting is about educating students and how much of the agenda is about operations of the district. Should the board be focusing more time and attention on educational endeavors?
