School Safety: Every child deserves to be physically and emotionally safe while at school.
Academic Excellence for All: Standardized test scores have declined by 48% over 5 years, in 2022 only 25% of 8th graders were proficient in Math.
Fiscal Accountability: The PA Auditor General reported WCASD raised local taxes unnecessarily in 2018 and 2019.
Transparency: Our community deserves to access to academic outcomes, teacher training, curriculum, finances, and safety plans without delay or costly legal reviews.
Parents as Partners: Parents are essential partners in their child’s education, parental engagement is fundamental to a child’s educational success.
Schools as Politics-Free Zones: Public schools should promote learning of core subjects and critical thinking, teaching children how to think, not what to think.
